I AM JUST A MAN

OF FLESH AND BLOOD

IN A RUBBER ROOM

IN A CONCRETE BUNKER

I CAN PLAY MY STRINGS

I CAN SING AND DANCE HERE

IN MY RUBBER ROOM

IN A CONCRETE BUNKER

MAYBE I DO BELONG HERE

MAYBE I DO BELONG HERE

I AM NOT ALONE

( YOU ARE NOT ALONE )

THERE ARE MANY VOICES

( VOICES VOICES )

IN MY RUBBER ROOM

IN A CONCRETE BUNKER

WE CAN PLAY AND SING

( WE CAN PLAY AND SING )

WE CAN SING AND DANCE HERE

( SING AND DANCE HERE )

IN OUR RUBBER ROOM

IN A CONCRETE BUNKER

MAYBE WE DO BELONG HERE

MAYBE WE DO BELONG HERE

WE ALL MUST FIND

OUR OWN LITTLE WORLD

WHERE WE ARE EVERYTHING

AND NOT FORGET

FOR EVEN A MOMENT

WHO CREATES

OUR DESTINY

IT'S YOU

AND

ME

I AM JUST A MAN

OF FLESH AND BLOOD

IN A RUBBER ROOM

IN A CONCRETE BUNKER

Author's Note

This song was originaly written in 1993
while I was still performing with the band JUSTICE GREEDY.
The rehearsal space we occupied at the time was a huge cinder block room.
The largest room ever inhabited by JG.
In order to deaden the room, for acoustic purposes,
we had mounted large panels of acoustic foam rubber on the walls.
Hence, a Rubber Room in a concrete bunker.
